Franklin Hospital is a 305-bed facility operating as a part of the North Shore LIJ Health Care System. Long-term and rehabilitative medicine is offered at Franklin Hospital.
At Long Island Jewish Valley Stream, we’re making big waves for our south shore communities, starting with our nationally-ranked bone and joint care. With our new orthopedic hospital and a partnership with Orlin & Cohen—one of the leading names in orthopedics—we’re building momentum behind our every move.
But we don’t stop there. We are also a designated primary stroke center by the New York State Department of Health and have advanced certification in total hip, knee and joint replacement surgery by the Joint Commission. And with the Northwell Health Orzac Center for Rehabilitation on the same campus, we proudly offer short-term rehab, skilled nursing care and many other services all in the same location.
