I have tried every allergy medication (OTC as well as Rx) and they don't seem to work or they work for a while then stop. Alka-Seltzer Plus is the only one that has consistently worked for me. It clears my sinuses,headache, scratchy throat, and cough. While it does tend to make me drowsy (I do not take it if I know I will need to drive) it does not knock me out and make me sleep for hours. I can function when I take this medication.
