I've been a huge fan of Attack on Titan for several years and this is a great Second Season. The quality is superb and the animation is beautiful. Not to mention it's action packed story. My only issue is that this season is only 12 episodes long. In comparison to the first season, which was 25 episodes long, it feels short.

None of the first 3 seasons came with slip covers, that was kinda important to me, especially when the picture shows then having slip covers. Other than that, very mild damage to the case itself. All discs are 100% fine no scuffs or smudges

I had seen a few reviews that said there’s no Japanese with English subtitles on these discs. That’s NOT true! The default audio is English when you first begin playback. I immediately stopped it and went back to the setup screen where I switched it to Japanese but was initially disappointed to see there was no subtitle menu. But when I resumed playback, it automatically had the English subtitles with the Japanese audio.
I was, however, disappointed that the commentaries and the “making of” featurettes were ONLY in English and focused ONLY on the American-made version and actors by Funimation Studios. I would have rather heard from the Japanese voice actors, directors, set designers, Manga creators, etc. I am not interested (not even a little bit) in the process the American production company brought this together because Funimation weren’t the creators of the Manga.
If you’re like me and want to immerse yourself in the world that anime offers, then you absolutely must watch it with Japanese audio. I’m listening to, actually right now, the American voice actors in studio dubbing the dialog for the show with interviews mixed in. And it just seems so…….fake. No disrespect to the actors’ abilities, but hearing English while watching a show that wasn’t animated by American artists immediately takes me out of the experience I’m meant to have.
That being said, it is most certainly worth the purchase!!

Attack on Titan was the first Anime I ever watched. At 56 years old I had declared that I would never watch this strange form of entertainment, but Attack on Titan was my introduction to Anime, and is the reason why I am now HOOKED on Anime. Let me be perfectly clear about this, Anime is not for everyone, but everyone should watch this one series from beginning to end, as it is one of the most creative story lines I've had the pleasure of watching/reading; as an Author myself, that is saying quite a lot.
While I did not like the first part of the first episode in Season 1, it was a bit in your face Japanese is better than the rest of the world, once I got past that part I fell in love with this Story. Not to mention, the artistry in this Anime is second to none. So if you were like me and swore you would never partake in this type of entertainment, do yourself a favor and watch this Series, both seasons, and I promise you will watch every single episode, one after another, after another, until you have caught up with all of the episodes. You may not enjoy any other Anime's out there, but Attack on Titan, in my humble opinion, has set the bar extremely high for other Anime creators, and I hope that there are others up to the challenge and will create new Anime just as good, or better if it is possible, as Attack on Titan.
Now, if I could just find some more Anime that comes close to the creativity of Attack on Titan, then I would be happy!

This DVD will only play in Region 4 (Australia, New Zealand and Latin America). Don't buy it if you don't have a multiplayer DVD or don't want to change your player settings.
I really enjoyed the Art Book "Beyond the Wall". I would like the images to be
postcards so that I could frame them.

Great addition to the story! Deeper character development, and great action. Only down side is, it is the shortest season of the series.

This is a beautiful season of one of the best Anime in existence but unfortunately the first Blu-Ray disc had issues playing

Let me say attack on titan is truely an amazing series plenty of action and great story but its around here where the action isnt as great as its trying to explain more while still keeping a decent amount of action. The plot is the selling point of season 2 and with 12 episodes it explains it well such as where the titans come from and who the armored titan and the collosal titan are. I only wished it was abit longer as where things really start to pick up, it ends. But well worth the buy.
