Just paid $22.00 for $8.00 worth of olive oil. Even with free shipping, that is not a good deal. I thought it was advertised as a pack of two.

Love this brand. A lot of fake olive oils out there - do your research. I alway buy this brand’s California sourced oil, not imported- even by this brand. It’s difficult to find in my grocer so ordered here. Very satisfied!

I generally order grocery deliveries from Whole Foods. The Whole Foods California olive oil comes in bottles and is less expensive than California Olive Ranch.

However, at one point Whole Foods was out of their 365 brand California olive oil. So I bought this product direct from Amazon as a backup (Whole Foods also sells California Olive Ranch oil but either they were out of that too or Amazon was cheaper, I don't recall). I'm glad I did. It has a long shelf life. And as it turned out I didn't use it for several months because Whole Foods was quickly re-stocked.

I eventually started using this California Olive Ranch boxed olive oil I'd bought as a reserve. I liked the way it dispenses oil. I could put a dish under it and use the spout mechanism to pour oil directly into the dish without having to lift a bottle.

And as needed, I could refill an empty olive oil bottle if I wanted to pour the oil the usual way from a bottle. It was easy to refill a bottle without spilling as the exit point of the spout on the box is narrow.

I was wondering how to get the last drop of oil out of a plastic bag that crumples as it empties. Not a problem. I tore the box open and just squeezed the bag to get the last of the oil out. This ability not to waste the last of the oil in the bag prompted me to write this review.

True, the plastic bag may not be recyclable, although I'm not sure -- it may be. But considering the fuel cost to transport a glass jar from California, it seems possible that in this case plastic, even if it is discarded, might be a greener solution in some way.

My wife uses a lot of oil cooking Mediterranean dishes, and this is her preferred brand. Much more reasonable price than buying at the supermarket.

I grew a huge amount of basil this summer and needed the olive oil to make pesto. Worked out great!

There's little "olive" flavor in this oil. Bag-in-a-Box packaging is head and shoulders above most others, valve works perfectly with no dripping.

We have used many different olive oils but none better than this one.

I only buy this brand as foreign mixes and other brands are increasingly disappointing ! Notice - I ONLY choose the extra virgin 100% California version - they sell a blend that has other oils in it and is cheaper but NOT as good !
