Is memory foam or box spring better?

Memory foam is usually known to be more durable because the lack of coils reduces the risk of sagging. Spring mattresses may not be as durable as memory foam because the springs and coils may start poking and sagging due to extended use.

Do you have to use a box spring with a bed frame?

A box spring, specifically, is not always necessary. The important thing to keep in mind is that box springs do require the support of a separate bed frame (in most cases). If you have or prefer a basic metal bed frame with just one or two center support bars, you likely need a box spring to complete the set.

Is a higher box spring better?

If you have a hard time getting in and out of bed or simply prefer being higher up, this is an ideal choice for you. More opportunity for under-the-bed storage – With great height comes great storage possibilities. A taller box spring may offer more room for taller storage containers to slip seamlessly under the bed.
