 Show The Halo Xbox Series X limited-edition console launches tomorrow, November 15, and while this edition is reselling for more than double its list price right now, there’ll be a rare Best Buy in-person restock, according to multiple store employee sources I’ve talked to over the last week and a half.
And it’ll be massive in one way: there are 84 Halo Infinity edition Xbox consoles in Manhattan, all at the 14th Street Union Square Best Buy store location, where I’m doing a Halo Xbox live blog. I can report that other Best Buy stores in the US have similar numbers – either 44 to 84 consoles each.
Yet it won’t be massive in another way. While the Best Buy Halo Xbox console count is tremendous, only 168 Best Buy stores in the United States will have the Halo Xbox Series X console in stock, according to a list by LordofRestocks. That’s not a lot of stores compared to other PS5 restock and Xbox Series X restock events I’ve reported on in the past.

The game costs $60 on it’s own, so you’re actually saving some money – in case you need to justify that big purchase. Best Buy won’t be the only US retailer with the Halo Xbox Series X in stock on Monday. It turns out that both Amazon and Antonline have been allotted consoles and haven’t had any pre-orders.
