Located next door to Disneyland Resort‘s Toy Story Parking area, and less than a mile down the road from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort – Convention Center is a hotel that is a great option for families visiting Disneyland Resort. In this post we’ll review a standard king room, as well as the hotel’s various amenities.

This room was labeled as “1 King Bed Nonsuite” on the hotel’s website. The same configuration with 2 queen beds is also available. Other room types includes a family suite with a king bed and a bunk bed, 1-bedroom suites, and studios.

At the foot of the bed is a dresser, TV, and desk with chair. I was able to work comfortably at the desk for several hours, which isn’t always the case with desks and chairs in hotel rooms.

Another chair is located near the window.

There was a lot of cupboard space but they’re unfortunately not stocked with any dishes or utensils. disposable coffee cups are available for the coffee maker included in the room.

The mini fridge is big enough to fit a decent amount of drinks and snacks.

A microwave and toaster are also included.

Rooms on the north side of the building look out to Disneyland Resort’s Toy Story Parking area.

The closet is home to a iron with table, safe, luggage rack, and hangers. There’s plenty of space to store luggage during your stay.

The bathroom has a good amount of space and and a decent amount of room on the counter.

Water pressure in the shower was good and I really appreciated how quickly the water got hot.

Plenty of extra towels were provided.

The exterior of Homewood Suites. There’s plenty of room for cars to unload out front. Parking is located on the sides and rear of hotel. The cost per a vehicle is an eye watering $28 a day.

At least free EV charging is included with the parking fee.

Level 2 J-1772 and Tesla destination chargers are available.

Homewood Suites features an outdoor pool located near the lobby.

A great perk of this hotel is the daily included breakfast. It’s not just a basket of prepackaged danishes, it’s a full on breakfast buffet.

Waffles, pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, bagels, and fresh fruit are just a few of the items available. A free substantial breakfast like this will save families a lot of money during their stay when compared to what they would pay for the same meal inside the theme parks.
