How to send amazon gift card to multiple emails

Chances are you have actually bought one of them to give away as a gift. And yes, they really do make great gifts!

But what if you wish to give an Amazon gift card to someone that lives somewhere far away?

Well, it’s actually very easy to have Amazon send a gift card virtually anywhere with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Here are three fast and easy options:

1 – Send the gift card via email.

Simply visit this page at Amazon, select the style of gift card you wish to send, then complete the order process.

Your lucky recipient will receive an email from Amazon right away announcing your gift.

The email will also explain how to apply the gift card balance to the recipient’s own Amazon account.

2 – Send the gift card inside an actual greeting card.

Visit this page and select the amount of the gift and choose a card design, then complete the order process.

Amazon will then ship the greeting card that you selected along with gift card to the recipient.

3 -Send the gift card inside a gift box.

Visit this page and select the gift box design you like, then complete the order process.

Amazon will then ship the gift box containing the gift card to the recipient.

As you can see, Amazon makes it easy to send someone an Amazon Gift Card regardless of where they might happen to live.

Yesterday we tested the ability to send a gift card to multiple emails (referred to as like Amazon). Customer quantity was correctly adjusted to accommodate the number of emails listed. However, when the order was completed all gift cards were sent to each email so that everyone had all codes and access to all cards.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. I just ran a quick test with multiple recipients and could not reproduce the problem.

Can you verify that the To / From / Message fields all appear in the cart after you add the product?

After placing the order, you should see each recipient in the Order Items in the admin area.

When the gift cards are generated they will appear in the Order Items in the admin area, with the recipient email next to the gift card number so you can see who got which number.

We ended up with 2 gift cards in the gift card dashboard where the recipient was shown as “acp…@s..aw.ca, bp…@gmail.com” and they were both emailed to both emails. The woocommerce order details show the above address in the “to field” and below it shows that one was sent to each email.

First, ensure you have the very latest plugin version (free version is v1.138 and the Pro version is currently v1.232).

You may also want to disable the WooCommerce Transactional Email system for the gift card email by taking these steps:

    1. Click on Pimwick Plugins -> PW Gift Cards -> Settings
    2. Uncheck the box that says “Use WooCommerce Transactional Email System”
    3. Click on “Save Changes”
    4. Perform another test order

I see there is a new pro version out so will update to that asap.
Beginning to wonder if our problem is that we were testing on a staging site. For now I have turned off the ability to send gift cards to multiple emails. We hope to go live with the plugin in the next few days. Once were live I will turn on the multiple email feature briefly and test again with and without the woocommerce transactional email box checked. Will update you then.
    Thanks for prompt responses.

Sounds good. WordPress.org doesn’t allow supporting Pro plugins using their forums so please contact us from our website: https://www.pimwick.com if you need further help.
