If i delete a conversation on messenger can i get it back

You can recover deleted Facebook messages by downloading them or checking old email notifications. You can also recover them by looking in the cache of the Messenger app, if you use Android. You can also check your archived messages or ask the person you were messaging with for a copy.

Select the Messenger icon at the top of the page. Choose See all in Messenger at the bottom of the Messenger list. Click the three-dot menu icon next to Chats and select Archived Chats in the menu. If you see the message you are looking for, respond to the chat to move it back to the Messenger active chat list.

Click "Delete" from the drop-down menu. You'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete the message and, if you do so, your copy of the conversation is permanently erased. The recipient's copy is not deleted, which can be confusing if someone references the message later on.
