DETAILED SETUP
1. Make sure the keyboard is turned on.
The number 1 LED on the keyboard should blink quickly.
NOTE:If the LED is not blinking quickly, perform a long press (three seconds).

Choose how you want to connect:
Use the included wireless receiver.
Plug the receiver into a USB port on your computer.
Connect directly via Bluetooth.
Open the Bluetooth settings on your computer to complete the pairing.

3. Install Logitech Options Software.

How do I control the backlight on my MX key?
Hold the function key ( Fn ) and hit F6 to turn off the backlighting and F7 to turn it back on.
How do you use the function keys on a Logitech MX key?
You will need to switch to the F keys by pressing Fn + Esc combination. You can also customize other button to provide the F4 command via Logitech Options software. Helpful?
How do I pair my Logitech wireless keyboard MX key?
Choose between two ways to connect your keyboard to your computer: Bluetooth: Open the Bluetooth settings on your computer to complete the pairing. More details here. USB receiver: Plug the receiver to a USB port, open Logitech Options, and select: Add devices > Setup Unifying device, and follow the instructions.
How do I know when MX keys is fully charged?
From 100% to 11% your LED will be green. From 10% and below, the LED will be red. You can continue typing for more than 500 hours without backlighting when the battery is low. Plug the USB-C cable at the top right corner of your keyboard.
