How do you get from Galapagos to Machu Picchu?

To connect the Galapagos and Machu Picchu you will need a flight that connects Lima, Peru, with either Quito or Guayaquil, Ecuador. This is a flight of just a few hours, and it is possible to connect to the next country on the day you leave either Cusco or the Galapagos Islands.

How many days do you need in Galapagos?

That's why we always recommend the bare minimum of 5 days to adequately experience the Galapagos and strongly recommend 7 days to get an even greater and more comprehensive sense of the Galapagos' diversity and otherworldly landscapes.

How long is the boat ride from Ecuador to Galapagos?

By sea it takes 3 days to reach the Galapagos Islands from Ecuador. Boats depart from Guayaquil to the Galapagos. Most often these are cargo ships with basic accommodations not matching the luxury cruises in the archipelago.

How many Galapagos Islands can you visit?

Access: Because land-based explorations are limited to the five islands that can be reached in one day, travelers won't be able to visit the more distant islands that boat-based itineraries include.
