Customer ReviewsBased on 1 review Write a review FAQsHow To Charge the SimplyGo Mini Battery? The SimplyGo Mini battery can be charged while plugged into the SimplyGo Mini device. Simply use the AC or DC power supply provided with your concentrator to begin the charging process. Please note: do not use DC power the first time you charge the battery. Both standard and extended SimplyGo Mini batteries have a gauge so you can check the amount of charge. To see the level, press the black button on the standard battery, and on the extended battery press the two black buttons simultaneously. The more LEDs that are lit, the greater the amount of charge in the battery. The LEDs will blink when the battery charge is very low. You can charge the battery with the AC power cord that comes with your SimplyGo Mini. With the battery installed connect the AC power supply output cable to the power input connector on a device.
The standard SimplyGo Mini battery takes approximately 4 hours to reach a full charge, while the extended battery can take up to 8 hours to reach its full charge. An external battery charger is available for purchase, but is not required - the battery will charge any time the concentrator is plugged into power. It is also important to note that the battery duration will vary, depending on oxygen settings. Battery age will also cause the overall battery life to degrade. If the battery surpasses the recommended number of life cycles, the SimplyGo Mini will alert the user. How To Replace the SimplyGo Mini Battery?Changing the battery on the Philips Respironics SimplyGo Mini is quite simple. Each battery has a green release button on the side. To remove the battery from the portable oxygen concentrator, push down on the release button and slide the battery out. To insert, line the battery up and slide it into place until the battery clicks. How To Clean the Philips Respironics SimplyGo Mini Battery? It is important to understand that the battery should never be submerged in water. When cleaning, make sure the battery is removed from the concentrator and only a dry cloth is used. Wipe down the battery bay on the device, as well as the exterior of the battery. A slightly damp cloth with mild detergent can be used, but ensure that the battery is completely dry before reinserting it into the device.
