The toy line consisted mainly of slightly altered or differently painted figures which had been released before. Post Original Trilogy CollectionFor the Post Original Trilogy Collection Hasbro released a total of 16 figures in early 2005. POTC was a transitional series leading into Revenge Of The Sith, the line included figures from Episode 1 & 2, plus figures from the Original Trilogy. Vintage Original Trilogy CollectionThe Vintage Original Trilogy Collection was a sub-line of 12 action figures of the basic Original Trilogy Collection. At the time these figures were marketed as the best representations of these characters which Hasbro ever produced in terms of likeness and articulation. All 12 figures were released in vintage-inspired cardbacks, which shipped in protective clamshells to stores so that collectors could obtain figures in pristine condition.
