Description

Theory and Practice of Counseling and Psychotherapy (10th Edition) – eBook PDF

Incorporating the feeling, thinking, and behaving dimensions of human experience, Corey’s best-selling ebook, Theory and Practice of Counseling and Psychotherapy, 10th Edition, (PDF) helps college students compare and contrast the therapeutic models expressed in counseling theories. Corey introduces university students to the key theories (psychoanalytic, family systems, Adlerian, existential, Gestalt, reality, behavior, person-centered, cognitive-behavior, feminist, postmodern, and integrative approaches) and shows how each theory can be applied to two cases (“Stan” and “Gwen”). With his hallmark style, he shows students how to implement those theories in practice, and helps them learn to incorporate the theories into an individualized counseling style.
