This is a very hard-to-find set of 1994 Upper Deck World Cup soccer cards. This is the legendary 17-card "high numbers" set in mint condition.Because of licensing problems, no 1994 World Cup cards issued anywhere in the world contained players from Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia and the selection of Argentina players was very limited. This was true of the series released in the USA as well as the various international series. Then, very late in the print run, some international series boxes suddenly turned up containing players from these "missing" countries. These cards were numbered 251-267 and since the normal international series had ended with card number 250, these cards became known as the "high numbers". Several important players appear ONLY in this high number set, including Gabriel Batistuta, Claudio Caniggia, Fernando Redondo, Hristo Stoichkov and Saed Al Owairan. Interestingly, card number 267 is a separate checklist of the high numbers and features a picture of some of the members of the USA National Team. Buyer pays $3.50 shipping in the USA.
