RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pure Vitamin E oil; excellent product I purchased this Vitamin E oil to use for making hand and body salves. The recipe calls for me to puncture and squeeze 20 Vitamin capsules. Ummm…… No. Instead I ordered this bottle of pure Vitamin E oil, and I am absolutely pleased. Yes, it costs more than many bottles of Vitamin E oil--- but look at the contents of the less expensive ones. This one is pure vitamin E and is well worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Elixa from Sticky like honey The oil is so hard to apply I have to rub really hard just to get it all over my face it is so thick and sticky, it feels as if was I putting on honey It leaves my face so shinny like a light bulb and extremely sticky...my finger really do stick to my face. I am not happy with this product at all, i have used other vitamin E oils for wrinkles and will definitely go back to my previous brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eileenkm from No chapped lips. I’ve been using this product since 1999 when a friend suggested it. After using one drop on my lips each night when l went to bed it made my lips smoothe and moisturized. One bottle lasts for years! It is a great value for the money. There is no taste or unpleasant odor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Acgary from Great Vitamin Oil from natural sources I've seen people complain of the viscosity of this oil, but real (not synthetic) vitamin e oil is thick. You can thin it a bit by adding a small amount of a carrier oil, like grape seed or sweet almond oil. This product is well worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by judgeTruth from Extremely sticky and hard to wipe off Honestly I've purchased Vitamin E oils in the past (a few different brands) and I've never had one this sticky, thick and hard to rub on. The best comparison I can come up with is that it's about as thick as honey. It's also very hard to clean off once applied. So if you are looking for something more light weight and more of an oil type (think of olive oil texture) then this would NOT be a good choice.

Is higher IU better in vitamin E oil?

Many pure vitamin E oils will list the potency of vitamin E in “IU” or “international units.” Higher IU oils are best for very dry skin or to target trouble spots. Lower IU oils are good for general skin support.

Can I use vitamin E oil on my face?

Vitamin E oil can be used on your face as an overnight anti-aging treatment. Since vitamin E has a thick consistency, it's best to apply it before bed so that it can fully absorb. If applied in the morning, you may have difficulty putting makeup or serums on top of it.

How much vitamin E oil is too much?

More than 1,000 mg in natural form, or 670 mg in synthetic form, taken daily can thin the blood, increase the risk of bleeding, and even cause bleeding in the brain. It's always best to discuss the use of supplements with your doctor.

What is the use of vitamin E oil?

Vitamin E oil is an ingredient in many skincare products; especially those that claim to have anti-aging benefits. Vitamin E supplements may prevent coronary heart disease, support immune function, prevent inflammation, promote eye health, and lower the risk of cancer.
