Disney+ is showing part 3 of season 11 in the UK as part of its Star on Disney+ line-up, while AMC is showing it in the US.

The Walking Dead release date: When is The Walking Dead season 11 out?
The concluding episodes of The Walking Dead have started to air.
The final block of eight episodes (of 24) premiered on 2 October in the US, 3 October in the UK and Europe.
A spinoff series will follow in 2023.
Disney
The first 10 seasons aired on the Fox channel in the UK, available via the likes of Sky and Virgin Media. However, Disney closed the channel in the summer of 2021 and moved The Walking Dead to Disney+ instead.
It is now exclusive to the streaming service's age-restricted section - Star on Disney+ - in the UK.
How to watch The Walking Dead season 11 in the US
As with all other seasons, The Walking Dead season 11 airs on AMC in the States. It is also available on the AMC+ streaming service.

The concluding season of The Walking Dead draws inspiration from numbers 175 to 193 of the comic books by Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard and Tony Moore.
Naturally, there are some changes, considering the TV series has aready experienced a few major deviations from the comics.
However, the Commonwealth plays a significant role - just as it does towards the end of the books. We've already seen a fair amount of it in the episodes screened so far.

Will there be a season 12 of The Walking Dead?

Developed by Frank Darabont, the American post-apocalyptic horror series was at the forefront of the undead genre’s resurgence and we saw an influx of movies and shows riding the wave.

How many episodes are left of The Walking Dead?
Season 11 of The Walking Dead is officially made up of 24 episodes in total.
At the time of writing [Monday, October 3rd 2022] there are only seven episodes left to go before the series finale brings the narrative to a close.
The final season was actually split into three blocks containing eight instalments each, with the first bulk beginning to air back in August 2021.
Although the season will bring the long-running series to a close, there is a handful of spinoff series on the way, Nerdist confirms.
These include a Daryl spin-off, a six-episode anthology called Tales of the Walking Dead introducing new characters, a Negan and Maggie spin-off, and also a Rick and Michonne spin-off.

‘We really want it to be amazing’
Executive producer Greg Nicotero recently spoke with Den of Geek about the end of the line for The Walking Dead and his hopes:
“All of us, especially those of us who have been on the show since the beginning, want to go out strong. We want people to remember why they fell in love with The Walking Dead. It is no joke because we really want it to be amazing.”
Speaking of which, he reveals the moment he fell in love with it. “I really couldn’t even imagine what would have become of the show, but when you watch those first two episodes, it’s right there,” he explained.
“When [Morgan, played by Lennie James] is sitting at the window with his gun trying to shoot his wife’s walking corpse and he completely breaks down sobbing [it was] the minute I fell in love with the show.”
The Walking Dead concludes on Sunday, November 20th 2022.
