The anime entertainment company announced the release of the film on its platform last week, most likely sending chills down many a fans’ spines as they eagerly await the premiere of season two. The movie picks up where the end of season one left off, with our four heroes Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko (by box, of course) boarding the titular train to assist the Flame Hashira in defeating a demon with the ability to manipulate people’s dreams.

“Demon Slayer” is a wildly popular manga-turned-anime that has become a modern, international franchise success. The series follows the story of Tanjiro, a young boy whose family is viciously slaughtered by an unknown demon.

To make matters even more complicated, Tanjiro’s only surviving sibling, Nezuko, is turned into a demon during the attack. As such, Tanjiro is not only tasked with taking revenge upon the demon responsible for the murder, but also with finding a cure for his sister.

If you can’t catch the movie before the second season premieres (or if you just don’t plain feel like watching it), don’t worry—you won’t necessarily be missing out any major plot points for the show.

You can start streaming “Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) the Movie: Mugen Train” on Funimation starting Tuesday, June 22.
