SPIDER-MAN™: FAR FROM HOME
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems.

Fun but has major faults that are really annoyingVerified purchase
When I saw this movie when it first came out in a theater I was really disappointed. I thought it was the worst Marvel movie so far. The writing was sophomoric with tons of holes in the plot and the action was cartoonish. I’m watching it now three years later it’s much better than I remember it. The problem is they still throw in too many dumb parts.
The theme of the film is Parker having to grow up. Will he become a full time superhero and will he get some balls and ask MJ out?
It doesn’t start out bad. First Nick Cage runs into Mysterio and then Parker is still trying to figure out how to get with MJ. This is all good and then the stupid starts creeping in. One example. Parker accidentally sends a missile to kill a fellow student and in order to distract people from the on coming threat he tells them to look at a goat! WTF? Then he fights a monster and following that goes to a bar with Mysterio with his mask off. Yes, no one notices two superheroes in their costumes in a bar with one exposing their secret identity. Aww, but the people in the bar then disappear so Parker didn’t really show his secret identity some might say. Then real people show up who’ve all seen Parker’s face! There’s also a gaping hole in the monsters that Spider Man fights but I can’t go into that without spoiling things. This is all bad writing.
Overall Far From Home is fun but the faults are very annoying.
