How to stream NFL games this seasonYou can stream the entire NFL TV schedule through various platforms this season, though to do so you will have to purchase at least two over-the-top services in addition to a cable bundle. Streaming MVPDsThe primary NFL broadcasters — NBC, CBS, FOX and ESPN/ABC — can be streamed through Fubo TV (get a free trial), YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV and DirecTV Stream. Sling has ESPN, but none of the local over-the-air channels. NFL+ (NFL Plus)The NFL had debuted a new $5/month streaming service called NFL+ on which subscribers will be able to stream local and primetime regular season games on mobile and tablet devices (though not on television). Local and primetime games had previously been free to stream (on mobile and tablet) via NFL GamePass, but that will no longer be the case. NFL RedZoneThe NFL RedZone channel — featuring commercial-free live cut-ins of afternoon games each Sunday — is available to stream as an add-on through the following streaming providers: Fubo TV (sign up for a free trial), YouTube TV and Sling. Over-the-top platformsFor a full list of network availability on the major streaming platforms, see the Sports Media Watch sports streaming guide. Changes to the NFL TV scheduleThursday Night Football on Amazon PrimeAmazon Prime will begin exclusively televising Thursday Night Football games this season, meaning that those games will only be available via Amazon Prime Video outside of the participating markets (in the home markets, the games will still be simulcast on over-the-air broadcast affiliates). Expanded Monday Night Football scheduleESPN’s Monday Night Football package expands to 23 games this season, including a split-doubleheader across ESPN and ABC in Week 2. Expanded Christmas Day scheduleThe NFL has scheduled three Christmas Day games this season, the most games it has played on the holiday. New broadcast teamsWith the exception of the returning Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson on CBS, each of the other NFL packages will have a brand new lead broadcast team this season: Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth and Melissa Stark on NBC, Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Lisa Salters on ESPN, Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen and Erin Andrews on FOX and Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit on Amazon Prime.
