Users can save the audio and also save the entire page, which consists of reels with one particular audio. These pages can also be shared with your friends on the platform.

The feature of sharing pages is available on both iOS and Android users.

What are Instagram Reels?

A new way to create and discover short, entertaining videos on Instagram.

Reels lets you create fun videos to share with your friends or anyone on Instagram.

Reels lets a user record and edit a 15-second multi-clip video with audio, effects, and new creative tools.

Steps to save and share audio from Instagram Reels:

Play the concerned reels whose audio you want to save or share

  • Select the audio name at the bottom left corner of the screen, you will be directed to the audio page
  • In the top right corner, you will see share and save icons
  • At the bottom, you will see the ‘use audio’ options
  • To share or save the audio, tap on the three dots placed at the bottom right corner of the reels

In case you want to see the saved audio, all you need to do is go to the Instagram music library that is located in the reels section.

Instagram users looking to acquire more views on their Reels often turn to popular songs as a way to boost their visibility. However, Instagram limits access to trendy songs to those with a creator account.

So how can you access the right songs for your Reels if you have a business account? We’ve discovered a few workarounds that provide the best of both worlds: Instagram music and a business account.

Using popular songs can help your Instagram Reels go viral. You can start a Reels trend or join existing social media trends to get more views with the right music. But how do you find the songs—usually copyrighted music—that everyone’s using?

Instagram Story music

Start by looking at your Instagram Stories. Instagram automatically recommends current popular songs when you click on the Instagram Music icon. To look at music via Stories:

  • Open your Story
  • Take a random photo
  • Press on the Music icon
  • Hit Browse

Reels Explore page

Instagram often highlights trending Reels on its Explore page. Take a peek at these Reels to see what music is featured.

Hashtag page

Here you can search for hashtags related to your business or the type of content you often post about. From there, you can see what kind of music similar accounts are using with their Reels.

To see the Reels on the Hashtag page:

  • Open the Explore page
  • Type a hashtag in the search bar (like #fashion)
  • Press Tags

TikTok

Many Instagram Reels trends start as TikTok videos, making the video platform a great place to look for trending music. Start on TikTok’s Discover page or look on Tokboard, which lists popular songs on TikTok.

How to get good Reels music even when you have an Instagram business account

If you’re using a business account on Instagram, you won’t have access to music from recording artists (i.e., songs with the artist’s name and song in the title) due to copyright laws. That means Instagram users have two options for using popular music with Reels if they have a business account:

Option 1: Use original music from other users who have uploaded the song you want.

To go with this option, look for song titles with “original music” or “original audio” in the title. Typically, these are well-known hits that an individual has uploaded.

Option 2: Switch account type by editing your Instagram profile and changing your profile category to “Entrepreneur.”

You can permanently hide your Instagram account category to make it invisible to other users; doing so unlocks all of the music on Instagram. To go with this option:

  • Open your Instagram app
  • Head to your profile
  • Click Edit Profile
  • Click on your category, search for Entrepreneur, select it, and click Done
  • Click Profile display and switch off the toggle next to theDisplay Categorylabel
  • ClickDone twice

Option three: Surprise! You get a bonus option: ManyChat now works with creator accounts and not just business accounts.

As of November 11, creator accounts can now use Instagram DM Automation by ManyChat. So, if you created a business account solely to use ManyChat, you can now use a creator account and have access to the same great features (including Instagram music). Not only that, but Instagram Automation allows you to automatically:

  • Respond to comments
  • Send DM’s to users who mention your Instagram handle
  • Initiate a pre-scripted conversation with users

Grow your Instagram following and generate sales with Instagram Automation by ManyChat.

Why can't I save audio on my business Instagram?

If you're using a business account on Instagram you (generally) won't have access to use music from recording artists - the music that has the name of the artist and song in the title. This is because it is a copyright issue.

Why can't My business Account use music?

Why can't business accounts use popular music for video content? Due to copyright, business accounts do not have access to music from recording artists when creating video content on Instagram.

Can you add music to Instagram post on business account?

Or of course, you can add music to your story in a video editor, and then just upload the story to your app. As a business, however, you will run into another problem with adding music to your stories on Instagram: copyright issues. Business accounts are not allowed to use copyrighted music from the Instagram library.
