With a tandem axle capable of carrying a massive payload, the 7×14 utility trailer is one of the most versatile trailers available today. At this size, the 7×14 still provides the maneuverability needed to easily get around town while being plenty big enough to carry a number of different load-outs. For a great all-purpose utility trailer for individuals hauling ATVs, landscape companies with a full load of mowers and equipment, or anyone else simply needing a beefy cargo-hauler, the 7×14 is an excellent all-around trailer.
Customizing a 7×14 Utility Trailer
The 7×14 is an easy trailer to let your creativity run wild with as it’s incredibly well-suited for a number of different customizations. You may consider adding equipment racks to the side of the trailer, beefing up the loading ramp, or adding on a tool storage bin. However you need this trailer to perform, there’s the perfect custom options to get it just right.
A Closer Look at the 7×14 Utility Trailer Specs
The 7 x 14 is still small enough to be highly maneuverable and great for tight spaces and urban streets. The A-frame hookup with a standard 2” coupler and a 2,000 pound top-wind set-back jack makes this trailer easy to hook on and off your tow vehicle. The 7×14 was made to be a towing powerhouse with two, 3500-pound rated EZ Lube axles beneath a 2” thick wooden floor. The axles have their own electric brake, making it easier to stop the loaded trailer. For hook-up, make sure your tow vehicle is equipped with a 7-way RV style electric plug.
