Simply excellent! It has all the benefits of a MultiClad design, but without the weight penalty of a identically sized 3 or 5 ply design. The magic is in its 2 ply design - aluminum on the outside and stainless steel on the inside - plus a clever anodized outer surface. The anodized layer adds durability without adding weight. Overall, it performs like an AllClad that does not hurt your arm ... perfect! The skinny handle also works surprising well, though it may not be substantial enough for larger hands.

There were mentions of pitting of the SS layer and flaking of the anodized surface from some reviews. I am happy to report that neither has happened after 3 months of daily uses. Chops, stir fries, stews, soups, whatever, it is my go to pot for anything that does not need a non-stick surface.

My only complaint is on the cover. It is very nice looking, just like the AllClad's. But it is not functional. Luckily, the pot size is standard and I was able to find a modern tempered glass cover for it. Only cost a few dollars (China made) from a local store.
