Frigidaire glass top stove heating element replacement

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product!

I was very happy with how easy this was to install. I didn't even know that the oven's coil (heating element) could break but my old one broke. I'm not the most handy person and it was fairly simple to remove the old coil and replace with the new one. There were no instructions. I turned off the power to the oven first to be safe. I used a socket wrench to remove the two screws ( you need to reuse the old screws). I pulled the prongs out then attached the new coil and screwed it back in. It took longer to clean out the oven after than it was to install.

My son and I watched a YouTube video of how to install. It went exactly as instructed, we started it up and worked perfect, and is still working perfectly after a couple of months and several uses. Very pleased and saved us a lot of money not paying a professional.

Made life so much easier being able to order from Amazon rather than in person shopping and very easy to install

Element works on our oven but was shipped sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard. Cardboard was in the shape of a β€œW” when it arrived. Had to bend element back into shape before instillation. Hopefully it won’t affect the lifetime of it.

Easy to install, last about 5 years because I have done this before.

Don't touch the pretty orange glow stick in the food burny box. You'll get a boo boo.

Cheaper than the OEM part by about $20.
It arrived 3 days late though, so expect that.
If this element burns out before it's 5th year in I will change my rating to a 3 Star.
If my house burns down due to this element I will change my rating to a 2 Star.

Very happy with this element, it now allows me to continue making dinners that my kids won’t eat!

Works as expected!
It's simple to install and it saved my oven!
Worth it!

Advice:
If you removed your old element, don't try running your oven before installing the new one.
I did exactly that expecting to use only the Broil function and I blew my Circuit board (probably a short between the disconnected wire of the element and the chassis of the oven)...

I managed to fix that too by replacing a T9AV5L12-12 relay that I got for ~10$ on ebay...
but try not to do that dumb mistake yourself :P

Perfect replacement element for Frigidaire ES200 oven. Quick delivery very happy.

Five minute job if that.

Pull out and unplug Oven.
Open oven door, move oven trays out of the way.
Remove old oven element screws ( two screws) with nutdriver
Pull out element carefully and unclip element wires.
Connect new element wires
Put and screw the two screws back in holding the element to the oven.
Plug the oven back into the outlet
Push back into position and turn the oven back on and preheat it to check that it's all good.

There are youtube videos showing you how to do all of this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast delivery, works great, screws would have been nice.

Arrived much faster than expected. Prices were pretty much the same as in store but it was nice to be able to shop by model number. It would have been nice to have new screws included but otherwise looks and works great. Had a bit of a strong smell with the first (just a couple off minutes) use but quickly went away and hasn't been as problem since.
