JAHS Mission

Our mission is to supply students with an in-depth and well-rounded education. We provide an opportunity for students to achieve success through challenging academic standards. We are supported in our mission to prepare all students for college, career and life by partners such as York College and New York City College of Technology. Our goal is to graduate lifelong committed learners.

REPORT AN ABSENCE

To report an absence please fill out this form, Be sure to include their full name and OSIS# as well as the date(s) they will be out of school. Students should also email their teachers directly to try and receive the missed work.

SUBMIT AN ABSENCE NOTE/MEDICAL EXCUSE FROM SCHOOL

Absence notes or medical excuses from school can by email to . Be sure to include your child's full name and OSIS number in the body of the email.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

Requests for change of address are done through OPEROO. Please email to be sent the link. You will be asked to upload Proof of Address through the OPEROO link.

CHANGE OF GUARDIAN

Change of Guardian must be done in person in the Attendance Office
