   Pay is okay. Fly for free if you can actually get the time.

   Cons

   Management is constantly changing and just gets worse and worse.

   Pros

   -You have the opportunity to trade/give away shifts for money. -you honor 1 pto day a month if you work enough hours. -health benefits -discounted perks with other companies. -most of your colleagues are very helpful in chats, which is greatly beneficial with the company now being 100% remote

   Cons

   -6month probation period, that starts 8wks after training -global trading for shifts every 2months, seniority-based (so expect a night shift and no weekends off) -extremely micromanaged -everyday there’s application errors or outages making the job more difficult to do and customers more angry and harder to deal with -customers get more flexibility with policies then employees -a lot of departments set in place assist you as a resource are rude, don’t want to assist and/or their job duties become your job duty without an extra pay -you have to pay into the union day 1 but can’t be apart of the union until 6months in and they give you the run around with any answers to your questions -you’re dinged with IOA’s for absolutely everything… you get a IOA for using your sick time!!! -no work life balance -pay sucks compared to increased work duties without notice or negotiation in salary increase -one mistake gets you an IOA, takes a full year from that day for it to come off. Making it extremely hard to transfer within the company.

   Great benefits and wonderful co-workers and customers. They gave you the freedom to really help customers and give great customer service. They did not encourage you to always say no, they encouraged you to find a way to say yes.

   Cons

   Some managers were tyrants, when you got mando'd it was rough. Irregular ops was a nightmare.

   They treat their employees with kindness and respect .They offer free check in luggage which is a huge plus.Southwest is rated as a 4 star lowcost airlines and they are very much just that,prices are fair ,customer service is exceptional and they strive to keep their custoers happy.

   The leg room isnt that great.(31") They did have a crash in 2018.

    -flight benefits -pay is decent but not enough for what you’re put through

    Cons

    -complete lack of morale -supervisors and other tenured very cliq-y -no one in management cares about the employees -if you get in a car accident you’re required to take 1.5 points on attendance -they WILL fire you if you’re late during probation(saw it happen numerous times) -stated in the union contract that you are subject to work a 24 hour shift, yes a 24 hour shift. -mandatory overtime all the time -poor work environment, cut throat -if you haven’t been there at least 10 years, you will get the worst schedule available and required to work holidays
