Reviewed by BarkingAlien from New York 4.45/5 rDev +17.4% This is one of my all time favorite beers, with the caveat that it isn't a beer you can drink one can after another I love the flavor but I especially enjoy it with food, particularly burgers, or as a change of pace from the everyday. Highly recommended is you want something delicious and different. Jul 08, 2021Reviewed by bluejacket74 from Ohio 3.8/5 rDev
+0.3% 12 ounce can, canned on 05/20/21 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are OK. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dill, coriander, salt, lemon and orange. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some lime and a hint of peppery spice. Not really spicy at all, they really could have kicked this up a notch or 20. But with that being said it's a good pickle beer but if you're looking for a decent amount of spice you'll be disappointed. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Worth picking up for sure if you like pickle beers, but if you're looking for a lot of spice it's not here. Maybe they should have just called this one Pickle Monster. -2.4% Pours an effervescent gold with a thumb of fast falling cream colored head. No head retention or lacing S: Pickle Juice T: Pickles, a little salt, even less heat& a little lemon up front. Some dryness as this warms, a little more spicyness & pickle juice, plus building heat & a little sweet orange. Finishes a little spicy, a little sour & with a little sweet orange MF: Light/medium body, slight carbonation Delivers the promised flavors. I drink pickle juice occasionally. it is/was the old school Gatorade Jun 20, 2021Reviewed by Fordcoyote15 from Pennsylvania 3.55/5 rDev
-6.3% The only thing wrong with this beer is that they were too timid with their flavors. What i taste is great but its literally a fleeting glimpse of pickle and heat. Jun 18, 2021Spicy Pickle Monster from Prairie Artisan Ales Beer rating: 86 out of 100 with 24 ratings |
