There are things about him I don't like quite as much as the original, mainly his lower legs. The original version had panels that folded around the wheel on his ankle & this new one doesn't, I don't mind it though considering it's because he combines with Jetfire. His upper body & hip/thigh wheel placement are much more screen accurate & so are the brighter colors. Mine had slightly loose hips but I fixed them by tightening the screws. This Optimus Prime is nearly perfect so if you find one definitely give him a try. Plus as I mentioned before he combines with the new leader class Jetfire who I also have & it's awesome. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 4, 2019 I really like this optimus, but it's not my favorite. Studio series 05 optimus is better than this one. The joints were super tight straight out of the packaging, I just loosened the screws and it wasn't as bad but still tight. His truck mode doesn't really stick together and can be frustrating at parts. His cannon is really pretty, but doesn't fit in the hands of 05 optimus but 05's swords work on this optimus, it's also super tight and tough to get out of his hand. I got this guy with jetfire so I could combine them and it was very easy but I don't recommend using the instructions, watch emgos video on youtube, that's a lot more helpful. Only complaints are the left shoulder can’t tab all the way in and the knee joints are WAY too tight to bend, even when I unscreweed them. I got one then a replacement thinking that the problem would stop but no it would not stay together. it makes it look WAY less realistic and I think every single one is like that. real trucks don’t have slits in the grill. the plastic is also very weak, the first one I got the part that SUPPOSED to hold it together broke and the slit was even larger.please please please fix this Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 15, 2020 Great for toys for older kids. There are way too many steps for younger kids to follow and for afults it is even hard to follow. Articulation is top notch, transformation isn't too difficult, and the play gimmick of adding it to Jetfire is awesome! Get them both and put them together. You won't regret it, or believe how awesome it looks in your collection. Is Optimus Prime a Voyager class?This time out Optimus Prime is a Voyager Class figure. Instead of being based on G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime, this figure has its roots in the Generation 2 "Laser Optimus Prime" sculpt.
