Marnie and her younger siblings travel with their estranged grandmother, who is a good witch, to Halloweentown—a place where creepy creatures lead very normal lives. On her 13th birthday, Marnie gets a supernatural surprise when she discovers that she, too, is a witch. Marnie will have to learn how to use her broomstick if she hopes to stop an evil force from taking over Halloweentown.

This comedy-adventure follows Marnie and her younger siblings as they follow their estranged grandmother—a good witch (Debbie Reynolds)—to her home in Halloweentown, where witches, goblins, vampires and the like lead very normal lives. On her 13th birthday, Marnie learns that she comes from a witch family and that she, too, is a witch. When she discovers that an evil force is plotting to take over Halloweentown, she must help her mother and grandmother save the day.

Best news ever: Halloweentown is streaming on YouTube for free all week long. While Halloweentown will be available on Disney+ when it launches in mid-November, fans of the classic Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) will now be able to watch it in the lead up to Halloween, which is meant it was truly meant to be viewed.

Halloweentown began streaming on Disney Channel's YouTube channel on Thursday (October 17) and will continue non-stop for the next seven days. Once Halloweentown is finished streaming next week, it's likely Disney Channel will start streaming another Halloween-themed DCOM. Twitches was the last movie available on their YouTube channel. Fingers crossed the next one isDon't Look Under the Bed.

Earlier this year, "Halloweentown" stars Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz got engaged. Brown, who plays Marnie in the 1998 classic film, announced the exciting news via Instagram on June 30. "Have I introduced you guys to my Fiancée? ☺️💍❤️ #isaidyes," she captioned a selfie of herself with Kountz. The couple first met while filming 2001's "Halloweentown II," but things didn't turn romantic until the two actors reconnected a decade later. Brown and Kountz went public with their offscreen romance in July 2018, and the rest is history.
