When will the Auto-Reloads happen after set-up?
If you choose to have your Auto-Reload triggered whenever your Gift Card Balance drops below a certain amount, the Auto-Reloads will be automatically applied to your Amazon.com Gift Card Balance whenever your Balance drops below the triggering amount. If you choose to set up Auto-Reload on a schedule, the first Auto-Reload will be applied to your Amazon.com Gift Card Balance on the delivery date you select and the consecutive Auto-Reloads will occur according to the frequency you choose.

You've Already Applied the Gift Card to Your Account

If you see an error message that the gift card or gift voucher has already been redeemed, it's likely that the claim code has already been applied to your account, or to another account. After you enter the claim code on our site, we'll keep the balance in your account for use on future purchases so that you don't need to enter the claim code again.

To check whether the funds are already in your account, check Your Gift Card Balance.

Your Gift Card was Applied to the Wrong Account

When you enter a gift card claim code, we'll add it to the account you used to log in. When redeeming a gift card, ensure that you're logged into the correct account.

You can't transfer Amazon.com Gift Card balances to another account or another Amazon website such as Amazon.com.br once the claim code has been redeemed.

The Claim Code is Unreadable

If the claim code on your Amazon.com Gift Card is unreadable, contact us. You need to provide us with the following information:

  • The 16- or 30-digit serial number of the card.
  • Order number (if known).
