There’s no way of fixing them level 1 You need to add flair to tell us what year and model you have, or add it you your post. I had some "popping" in my '06 Laredo when I opened and closed the door, roughly in the same spot. I lubed up the door hinges with white lithium grease and all was good. All, have a 2015 GC and the driver side door started making popping sounds when opening. did the WD40 and white lithium grease without any improvement but read on another forum that the hinges have internal lubrication and cant be serviced from the outside. anyone know for sure or have had similar issues? Everytime I open or close the door it makes this obnoxious noise! Most likely, you’ll need to remove the door panel to see what’s going on. level 2 Yeah does sound like the door check. Might have to replace it. Super easy to install after I realized I also needed to loosen the top hinge a little to get enough clearance to remove the failed lower hinge. Just had to grab a can of glossy white spray paint and give it a couple coats before installation since it comes unpainted and the original hinge was body colored. I’m just glad her car was white because it might have been challenging to match the color if it wasn’t white or black.
