Luther Vandross is my all-time favorite singer, and this is another one of my favorite albums by him. I consider this album Luther's seventh studio-album that came out 3 years after the sixth studio-album "Any Love," from 1988. I also remember when this album came out back in 1991, ten years after the release of Luther's first album "Never Too Much," and it's still one of the greatest albums of all-time. One of my favorite songs from this album is "The Rush," an album track and an up-beat tempo hit song with a nice rythm and the sounds of a keyboard. There's also a video with Luther singing that song (live-in-studio) from "The Best Of Luther Vandross (1991 vhs)," a video tape that I have and that's converted on a DVD with all of Luther's videos from 1981, a video tape that shows interviews with Luther talking, along with his videos, and a video tape that came out when this album was released in 1991. And I also like the video with Luther singing "The Rush" (live-in-studio) from this album.

There's 2 other videos from this album and from "The Best Of Luther Vandross" (1991 vhs) with Luther singing, and those 2 videos are

"Power Of Love/Love Power"
"Don't Want To Be A Fool"

And I do like those 2 other videos with Luther singing from this album and from "The Best Of Luther Vandross" (1991 vhs) as well.

With listening to this album, I also like the title track "Power Of Love/Love Power" and all the rest of the songs. This album takes me back to when I was six years old and was living in Orlando Florida, and I still to this day remember those days and when this album came out. Alot of times I would play the title track over again and it became my favorite song, and Luther Vandross became my favorite singer with such a wonderful voice. These days when I still listen to this album, I think back when it first came out and how life was then, and how music was so popular. And that's when I became a big Luther Vandross fan.

It's also been ten years since Luther Vandross passed away, and even though he is missed, his voice and music still lives on. So, whenever I watch Luther sing and perform in his videos from "The Best Of Luther Vandross" (1991 vhs) that I have converted on a DVD, it brings back memories of him and how great of a singer he was.

I also have an extra copy of this album burned on a CD, and it's stored in a zip-loc bag with Luther's last 2 albums,

"Luther Vandross" (2001 album)
"Dance With My Father" (2003 album)

And I would sometimes play my burned copy of this album, "Power Of Love," along with these last 2 albums by Luther Vandross. My original copy of this album is what I would play, along with four other albums that Luther came out with in 1993, 1994, 1996, and in 1998. And those other four albums are

"Never Let Me Go" (1993 album)
"Songs" (1994 album)
"Your Secret Love" (1996 album)
"I Know" (1998 album)

I have these other four albums by Luther Vandross burned on CD's, and their all stored in a zip-loc bag put together in year order with my original copy of this album, "Power Of Love," and I would play them all in year order (including this album).

Even when I listen to this 1991 album, "Power Of Love," by Luther Vandross, I would sometimes watch him sing live in concert from the "Live at Wembley" (1989 vhs) that I also have and that's converted on a DVD. And that also brings back memories of Luther and how great of a singer he was. When Luther came out with this album in 1991, I remember noticing a Power Of Love tour with him singing live in concert, and I find that video with him singing live at Wembley is just like it. So, I would pretend or make believe that's a Power Of Love tour with Luther singing. And I would also want to remember Luther from the era of when he came out with this album in 1991.

I own the original copy of this heartwarming album which I already reviewed...The sentiments are the same...Except that this representation is very highly digitized...With a crystal, crisp and clear sound !!. The disc is colored deep blue, there is also an extended essay, song lyrics, production notes and an added photo too..Overall it's well presented. That's where I discovered that the POWER OF LOVE album is LUTHER'S GREATEST SELLER TO DATE!!.
If you are a fan of Luther as I am, there's no doubt you already own the original copy. Recommended for the true audiophile and die hard LUTHER fans. To those curious, this is a fantastic starting point to explore the amazing body of work and legacy that MR LUTHER VANDROSS has left for all the world to enjoy...A sparkling gem in the crown of music...
